Description

This no-bake dessert presents a delightful twist on the classic tiramisu, featuring layers of coffee-soaked ladyfingers and a rich, creamy mascarpone filling. Each bite offers a harmonious blend of tender biscuit, smooth cream, and the distinctive hazelnut and chocolate notes of Kinder Bueno. A generous drizzle of caramel sauce adds an extra layer of sweetness and a luxurious finish to this indulgent treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 24 ladyfingers
  • 1.5 cups strong brewed coffee, cooled (or milk for a milder flavor)
  • 500g mascarpone cheese, chilled
  • 1.5 cups heavy cream, chilled
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 810 Kinder Bueno bars, chopped
  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce, for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Prepare the coffee and let it cool completely. If using milk, ensure it is chilled.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the chilled mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat with an electric mixer on medium-high speed until the mixture is thick, creamy, and holds soft peaks. Be careful not to overbeat, as it can curdle.
  3. Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the cooled coffee (or milk), ensuring it is moistened but not soggy. Arrange a single layer of dipped ladyfingers at the bottom of a 9×13 inch (23×33 cm) baking dish.
  4. Spread half of the mascarpone cream mixture evenly over the ladyfinger layer.
  5. Arrange another layer of dipped ladyfingers over the cream.
  6. Spread the remaining mascarpone cream mixture over the second layer of ladyfingers, smoothing the top.
  7. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld and the dessert to set.
  8. Just before serving, arrange the chopped Kinder Bueno pieces over the top of the tiramisu. Drizzle generously with caramel sauce.

Notes

For best results, ensure all dairy ingredients are well chilled before whipping.

Do not over-soak the ladyfingers; a quick dip is sufficient to prevent a soggy dessert.

Adjust the sweetness of the cream to your preference by adding more or less sugar.

For a stronger coffee flavor, you can add a tablespoon of instant espresso powder to the coffee.

This dessert can be prepared a day in advance for optimal flavor development.
